AFSCME MIDWEST FLOOD RELIEF - Contribute

The historic floods and related weather of 2008 are devastating Iowa from border to border.  Homes and livelihoods are being ripped away from Little Sioux to Mason City, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Coralville to Burlington, Fort Madison and here in Des Moines.  There are countless AFSCME members that are being affected in every corner of the State.

 

AFSCME Iowa Council 61 has created an account to aide these victims.  Please reach down deep in your pockets and contribute what you can, from passing the hat at your meetings to making a contribution from your Local’s treasury.  The devastation is deep – some of our families have nothing left.  Please send your checks to AFSCME Iowa Council 61 and make them payable to:
